Long Tube Install Problem Need Help
 

For a friends 03 gt. The egr bolt that goes onto the header has 2 stripped threads in it and will only turn on about 1 turn then it stops and wants to kick back off. The car presiously had shorties, so someone tightened/****ed something up when they were in there. Now were debating on deleting the egr completely and blocking off the egr port on the manifold and a blockoff plate on the plenum. Anyone done this or have any other ideas? The kid doesn't want to buy a whole new pipe just to get that bolt and i think it would be easier to delete the egr completelely.
