lol at a headunit being 2k dollars... you can buy a headunit for $100 from walmart with an ipod hookup

i personally dont get too into music while im driving, as long as i can hear it then its fine to me...i use one of those plug in tape things for my truck and it works fine

stang has an mp3 compatible head unit, so i put 100+ songs on a cd and just switch cds if i wanna listen to something else

Every aftermarket headunit now has atleast a aux input for some sort of external media source..... Thats standard now, like how all cars have steering wheels standard.
