New motor installed, Now rear wheels are NOT engaging!!
"what it should say!! :/"
Hey
So i finally installed my new 4.6L 2V with no miles on it today and started it up, originally it was for an automatic "so they say" and i ended up using my original tranny harness and just plugged it in.
The motor starts with no issues what so ever, Quiet and new like it should be "so far". To humor myself i decided to throw it in gear while still on the jacks, etc. So i put it into first gear while pushing clutch and slower let go......nothing happened! no movement of the wheels or anything, and playing around a few i realized that i did not even need to use the clutch for me to throw it in gear , it just slid through all the gears and still nothing. anyone have any idea's???????
while installing motor once it was closely connected to tranny i moved the crank shaft with a wrench and saw the shaft in the tranny catching, so i dont think it is off. I am at a total loss here!

I agree with Ox, you probably have to adjust the pedal. Whenever the trans is out the pedals gotta be reset.. reach down there and pull the clutch pedal towards you until it stops clicking.

I didn't think you could adjust the stock pedals?
