Question Breaks Question!

ok so you guys have helped me with everything about my car from the beginning and I appreciate it. But now im really confused on my break situation. I am wanting to be replacing my breaks to a big break kit. Does anyone recommend any particular kit and if so I want the front and rear replaced. I have found many kits but they only seem to have the front and no rear..?? So i leave it to assist me with my situation...Thank you guys again.

From your current mods it looks like you are into drag racing. Big brake kits are bad for a straight line car. They will slow you down at the track. Just get better pads.

im more into drag racing also but my car is also my DD and i want to be able to stop if i have to. the cobra brake kit is definitely a lot better than stock gt brakes. i got mine off a 2003 cobra and the difference was night and day. if you want to go with that then this is a good kit and is really all you need:

i didnt do the back brakes, the stock ones are holding up well since most of the braking is done up front.

From a good portion of what I see here, and elsewhere on other forums and blogs, it would appear that spelling is no longer taught in government schools--grammar died a long time ago...

How much differents can 'better' pads actually make, in terms of actual stoping power?
