I told myself I wouldn't buy an intake until mine broke....Well....:)

....I'm ordering a new intake and it's either going to be the HPS Hardballer or the Edlebrock and although I don't need fuel rails for the HPS I'm still considering it.

MMR told me that I need a new fuel pressure regulator but I don't think I do. This isn't my area... What do I need? 96-98

No, I can't get the Trickflow or the P-51, I've already broke the bank this winter, lol. (Who ever knew 600rw would be this expensive:D)

I haven't found any real numbers (anything other than manufacturers #'s) for either intake. Are any of you guys running either of these intakes?

The fpr is on the factory rails so if you get aftermarket rails you need an aftermarket regulator that doesnt bolt to the rails. I used this one http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/products.php?prod=12 when I put my edlebrock intake and rails on. Some 98 cars like mine actually had the regulator made to the rails and didnt even bolt on or off, some just bolted on but I still think you'd need a new one even if yours bolts on.

i'm running the HPS but don't have numbers yet. It is a really nicely made intake. going back to the dyno in a few weeks. It feels like it definitely gave me back some low end and pulls even harder on the top end. I got a really good deal on mine too. I can't give out the deal i got but i will say he ported it for free for me. :D

This is the fuel rail kit I was looking at, what do you guys think?

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Wow, MF is dead tonight!

I ordered the Edelbrock Intake. I had Summit price match it for $289 and of course, free shipping, so I made out like a bandit. While I was at it, I ordered new rack bushings for $11. :0)

I may wait till I get the intake to see if I can make make my own adapter plate.

I still haven't decided on what I'm doing for fuel rails yet. Unless someone tells me I should for an educated or experience reason, I'll just get the ebay Pro Products Fuel rail kit and regulator.

very nice deal on the intake lol. but i'm confused, isn't it for carbs?

is it this one you got? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...8&autoview=sku

What fuel rails are you running now? those ebay ones don't look bad but who knows, i don't and don't know anyone personally that has had experience with them sorry.

i like the professional products rails...ive gotten the whole top of my motor in pro products and i dont have any problems. the intake gave me a problem at first but after taking it apart and wet sanding the whole thing it works like a charm...i shoulda ported it but thats later when money is more available =)

No, if you type in the part number it'll come up but I couldn't find it by the vehicle search. #28385

I have the stock lines and fuel rails right now. I think the themustangdepot.com had the EFi intake price misprinted on their site at $289. (which is about the cheap price for the Carb'd intake.) So I called up summit and asked them to price match and the summit rep was like, "Wow, they realy out priced us on that."
