i had my speedo pinned on the stopper past the 150 mark and held it for about 15 sec... how fast do you think that was? with 3.73 and some bolt ons.

i wont do those speeds in the states. if i ever got my car to germany i would be all over it. luckily, my buddy has an 04 with very similar mods as mine plus 3.73's in germany. when we get off deployment and install all his new stuff we are going on a top speed run. i will be sure to video and post it. he swears he hit 160 (gps verified) as it is now (3.73's/cai/mid pipe/cat back) but i dont know about all that...

...looking at your chart cliffy, if my buddy hit 160 he would need something like 248hp @5k rpm. i know he doesnt have that with what he had. he will now though most likely (getting udp/tb/plenum/tuner)

topic went from top end pull to whats the fastest speed you've gone... Nevertheless, i've gone 155mph in my past 5.0L mustang years ago...I would never do something stupid like that again unless i'm at an isolated track/drag strip. I've had a couple buddies die in two different instances because of crap like that. All it takes in one dog/deer or snail to get you losing control.
