Default Mach 1 Air Intake Question!!!

I have a friend of mine that owns 2004 Mach 1. He is trying to buy a intake manifold but still keep his shaker air intake. Is there any intake manifolds out there that will allow this to happen? I was doing some searching for him but didn't find anything.

Why is he buying an intake manifold? What's wrong with the stock one? Hell if anything I'd just say port that one. These engines aren't like pushrods... you can't just open your summit racing catalog and buy an aftermarket intake and gain 30hp.

+1... big ol waste for him to buy an aftermarket intake manifold. If theres nothing wrong with his. If for some reason his isn't function properly there are 2 options other than the stock mach manifold.

Sullivan, or a sheetmetal, both are really for F/I purposes and a ported mach intake can flow nearly as well as either, unless you are the jesus of sheet metal intakes.

+ 1 for the laugh, my day sucked, well at least on the wallet.
Bout a new mid pipe to replace rattling cat, and a belt tensioner to hopefully fix a squeek, not that I had a ton of money to begin with......

I think his plan is to get as much horsepower as possible without tapping into the engine. I know he's very limited for what he wants to do. ok guys well thanks for your help.
