pull out the grill a little bit so u can get to the screws. then just use a ratchet and have at it. they should be 7mm bolts

I just did this today haha, but yeah, it would be a lot easier if you had the car on jackstands and went in from underneath to undo the screws. It's a pain to reach in from in front of the radiator.

Does anyone here have a deletion kit style grill installed? If so... how well has it been working... in terms (since it's more open than the honey style) for having rocks/ etc able to get to the rad easier? thanks

u won't have problems with anything damaging the radiator unless a slab of concrete falls off an overpass onto ur car or something. but then you'd have bigger problems than just a damaged radiator. and it should allow ur car to breathe a little better cause that ugly honeycomb grill isn't in the way

the grille delete looks amazing on my car. the only thing that i was sketchy about was the screws that hold the emblem on (theft) so i went to Ford and got some license plate screws with a special tool so no one can take it. Get the 3 piece kit, dont go with the crappy 2 piece kit.
