Default Buying a 2000 gt with kenne bell supercharger

Car is running 6 lbs of boost. Has 373 gears and mac exhaust with free flow catted hpipe. Lots of other work like throttle body and intake and other little things. Whats the input on 1/4 mile times? Car has 67500 miles on it. Will the stock motor hang in there with 6 lbs and can I bump it up to nine?

yea the motor will be fine on about 10 - 11 psi. i wouldnt go any higher than that though. 1/4 times should be 12.5 or so if driven right. sounds like a good deal.

just be easy on it in really hot weather and it should be fine. the car will be a little slower in hot weather too because your engine will be sucking in hot air

Above 6psi "they" say it's a good idea for an intercooler. Honestly, just watch your gauges.. if it turns out to be a problem I'm sure you can buy a fluidyne or something to help keep things cool overall.
