Default PBR Brakes on 98 Mustang - Good, bad, or ugly?

I just got a good deal on some PBR front calipers, spindles, rotors, ect...

Did I just waste my money to upgrade my front brakes to 99-00 PBRs (dual piston)?

I paid nothing close to their value (tho shipping was expensive. They are heavy), and figured it would be a nice upgrade regardless.

Let me know if I just need to turn around and sell these, and pickup a cobra setup.

I know they are still the small rotors, but how will they perform with slotted and drilled rotors?

Sorry to bump again... But looking on the internet at info...

It looks like these should be 13in rotors right?

Am I going to be able to get this on my 98? Or is there something majorly different that is going to prevent me from installing these?

13inch rotors are for cobra brakes. I dont think those are cobra calipers. My cobra had a pin and E-clip holding the caliper to the bracket.

No... They aren't cobra... They are PBRs.. I guess I just need to wait in see when I get them.

Some of the things I read said it is the same thing that same on the 2001 Bullits.

Yea Cobra calipers are PBRs... Bullit/Mach1 brakes are the same, without the markings. They could be those. Its been a while since I did front brakes on a Mach, and I've never worked on a Bullitt so excuse my ignorance. I just specifically remember pins holding the calipers on instead of bolts
