Manual lists 5. Most users list six. 5 quarts is absolutely fine on a stock engine. 6 If you drive like an *******, which I am, and 6 if you're modded more than cat-backs...rofl

just changed my oil an hour ago, 6 quarts of mobil 1 full synthetic, good stuff

To HangWire^^ I have a manual transmission and my owner manual list 6 quarts of engine oil!!! Now the trans oil is only 5 quarts.

the 2000 model manual says 5 quarts, i fill mine up just a bit over 5.

so i guess when i change my oil filter using a flat tip screw driver and hammer to take off the filter is bad? lol cause i do that all the time oh and i use 5 1/2 quarts of oil
