Default "Piggyback" Pulleys

I'm sure its been asked. I'm looking to get a timing adjuster from steeda but it says not for use with piggyback pulleys. I remember reading somewhere about BBK being piggyback? I'm guessing the meaning of piggyback is when installed, it piggybacks onto the factory dampner?

I havent installed the pulleys yet, so Im questioning if i should sell them and get steeda's.

or

Can I adjust timing with a predator? (Sounds like a noob question to me, but There is a chance )

you can adjust timing with the predator but not as much as the steeda timing adjustor.

i suggest selling your pullys and getting the steeda ones... then you can up the timing even more and have a better pully set.... im against piggy backs but they are hp you would get without pullys at all. IMO

I have a set of Steeda's that I just took off my car - 1,000 miles on them. I s/c'd the car and had to remove them. $100 shipped.

Don't use the piggy back ones you will have another 8 lbs added on to the end of your crank, get the steeda ones, $100 is a damn good price!

Not sure if BBK does it, but I know March offers a non-piggy back style crank pulley, look into that and save yourself the $$
