american muscle will have the best deal most likely. If not, their customer service is well worth the few extra dollars it would cost.

You should know either how to install them yourself (better be a pretty good mechanic with a lot of tools) or where you are going to have them put in. Sometimes it will be more expensive to buy the gears separately from the shop. They might offer you a little better deal for paying for all the parts and labor through them. I would try to do some research about the places you look at. I picked a place that does not do a great job and now, a year and a half later, I have to get them reinstalled somewhere else and pay full price again.

Oh man, the daily gear thread.. http://forums.offtopic.com/images/smilies/sleep.gif

Your going to need atleast new pinion bearings and races... 3 quarts of fluid, friction modifier, RTV, front seal, and a few other little things. Whos doing the install

yeah i dont usually post on the forum i just read alot.
I think I am going to have a transmission shop nearby put the gears in they did a good job of installing the limited slip into my pickup. What will the higher gears do to my gas mileage and top end?
