Thinking about removing F&R sway bar
Can someone tell me the pros and cons to removing the front or rear sway bar?
My front sway bars bushings are very cracked and I was thinking of just taking it off all together. I dont do hard cornering at all. So I figured "hey might as well try and drop a few pounds.

Despite what others before have said, I have both front and rear sway bars off. It really depends on how you drive your car. As for my car, it is a Daily Driver. The only form of racing I'm into is drag racing. I have skinnies on the front so obviously I cant corner that hard anyway, so sway bars werent really used. The car will lean a tad more in curves, but if you are a halfway responsible driver you wont have a problem. It will shed some pounds and allow easier weight transfer.

well i will add this, removing them to just save weight is not the right decision. if that is your reasoning then just get new bushings and leave them on. there are plenty other areas to remove weight and the swaybars haven't been one that i have heard of.

Had the factory sway bar break at the mounting point going down
an exit ramp, almost wiped me and another car out! At highway speeds
if you have to react fast and twist the wheel your gonna wish you had
left the sway bars on! Be safe and replace the bushings.
Get a rear seat delete if ya wanna start losing weight.
