Alright. We'll see what some others say about it, I'll talk to some people and then probably order. It'll save me $200 to put towards that installation for the gears + the speedo cali. I'll install the headers/midpipe myself.
The headers ain't easy. I watched two guys that do it for a living and it looked like a pain in the ***. Well worth the $450 I paid them.

Yeah, I know they're a pain. It took my friend about 8 hours to install his headers. He has a 97 GT with the top half of an 03 GT engine. Anyways, I'm guessing I'll let him do it with me or get them installed.

Just curious -- you wouldn't know any shops around Ohio/PA (West PA) that are any good would ya?

Do you think the mid pipe I chose was fine? (Mustang SLP X-Pipe (Off-road 99-04), http://www.mustangtuning.com/slpxpipe.html).
I know SLP makes quality stuff, but I'd be lying to you if I said I knew anything specific ,good or bad, about that pipe.

even if you get the blower, i'd still get the 4.10s. i have 3.73s with mine and still want 4.10s. stupid gears! [:@]
Your car is also only making 375 hp (no offense, because that's still alot more than what mine makes). I assume that since he's foring he'll be wanting to get into the 500-600 range. 4.10's will eat you alive with that kind of power.

get 3.73's, maybe 3.90's

So then... what's the vote -- honestly... should I get the 3.73's or the 4.10's considering I'm definately either supercharging it or twin turboing it... with a lot of boost.

Also -- does anyone know of any shops around the Dayton area or Youngstown (Ohio) that can do good work.
im outside of cleveland, ive heard of some good shops in toledo and cincinnati, and columbus...nothin too close to us though

Toledo isn't too bad. Columbus is closer for me so I'll to check there. If you know of any shop names it would be much appreciated

I doubt anything local would be able to help, but who knows. I dunno if I trust those people installing gears or the headers. Do you think a FORD dealership would have knowledgeable enough people to?

Two Ford dealerships quoted me 8 hours to do gears. No thanks. I don't think it's something that they do often.
