Fan only running on low - Car on verge of overheating
I need a little help here fellas...
I purchased my mustang over the winter last year... So I have not had a problem until now...
My car is only running the fan on low which now that it is summer, is causing me to run hot.
I can unplug the temperature sensor, the high fan will then kick on.
It is not the sensor, as I have checked the reading on my laptop. It is correct with my autometer gauge.
I do not believe it is the CCRM, because the fan goes on high when I unplug the sensor.
I have double checked and traced the ECU fan wire for shorts and verified any connections I have made. I have not run any continuity checks or anything, but it looks good.
This situation sound familiar to anyone?
