Default Mounting the SCT3000 on the Power pipe differently

Is it possible to mount the maf sensor on the 4" Power pipe by drilling and bolting just the sensor to the pipe? I don't want to switch to a blow through but I don't want to choke the pipe by the maf housing.

Thanks,
Mike

I have a BA3000 on an anderson powerpipe. I just used a 4" silicone coupler and used vortech's air filter adapter for the lightning 90mm MAF. It still bolts to the inside of the bumper like vortech's stock and is a secure fit.

I bought a pmas protube for my maf. I took off the mounting block from the tube and welded it to my piping and installed the maf that way. You can do the same if your sct is maf housing is aluminum.
