Default Is there a how to on porting the stock TB?

Is it worth it to port and polish the stock TB?

Even a few more CFM is worth it to me.

Just like a "how to" to follow

I have all the tools but it doesnt seem like porting it will do anything?

You cant port it larger than that blade correct?

I would say it is pointless, but to each his own. You have a 65mm stock, the next step up is 70mm. You could pick on up for like $200 new. I got my combo used for under $300. I just say, save yourself the headache and buy one.

The guys above are right its pointless, but didnt explain why. The reason porting a OE throttle body/plenum isnt worth your time is the actual design on the plenum turns at a 90 degree angle instead of a gradual bend like in the aftermarket ones. There is no way to smooth this out to the point where you would gain any performance. The throttle body walls are just to thin and again a waste of time, because the throttle body blade itself would also have to be change if the throttle body was ported for a gain to take place. All in all a waste of time. I dont like bolt on parts, for a close to stock GT. I dont feel like the money spent is worth the gain. The 2-5rwhp you gain after spending $400 dollars of your hard earned money really isnt a seat of the pants mod. Gears are a better choice. 4.10 FTW!!! Or save for a power adder, or H/C/I.
