Default is this normal?

when im driving normal and shifting, the rpms dont really fall on their own. it takes a few seconds for them to drop. if i shift at 4k rpms and shift slow, the rpms will only be down to like 3700 or so when i let the clutch back out.....is that normal in these cars??

even if i rev it in neutral it takes a while for the rpms to drop back to idle

It is normal... Its called the decay rate...

Also, some may experience "hanging" throttle, and you can do a mod on the IAC motor and help it.. But a little rpm hold is normal.

Ha, especially when you sit around on your toolbox every day waiting for work to show up.. We did just get a new 2010 GT in today tho, so I played around with that for a while
