Default Broken A/C vents

I'm just curious if these break on the 99-04 mustangs regularly. Mines have been broken almost since I've had the car and I was wondering if anyone knew how where I could get replacements? I went to the dealer and they were planning on charging me $1200. I told them to stick it and left. All I want is just the little A/C vents. Anyone know a good site where I can buy them?

P.S.

I've also noticed that my A/C doesn't cool for a good while after I turn it on. I've also noticed on occasion that when I start it up it makes a loud knock. Anyone know what may be wrong? Am I just lacking freon or something? I hardly use the A/C so if that makes a difference then there you go.

I bought my mustang a long while back...and i saw that three of four a/c vents were broke when i moved the middle dial. Months and months later...and i was actually looking to buy some cause it got annoying...(was looking on ebay) I was waiting for my wife sitting in car and i decided to pop off the vents to clean em and realized that they were not broken...they were just knocked off alignment of their little spot/place. I popped them back in placed and back to new and they all move. LOL Anyways, check that if not ebay. As for the loud pop...I believe it is the blend door opening up. My truck used to make a loud pop near glove box when i turned on ac. Not completely sure though.

Mines are indeed broken. No mistaking these. There split down the middle and falling out practically. The thud does indeed come from that area you mentioned but not all the time. It happens every once in a while so I was really curious as to why that may be happening. The fact that my A/C take a good while to cool would you think has nothing to do with it?

If you are just talking about the plastic vents that snap in the dash, I got mine for a lottle over 20 a piece from the local Ford dealer.

I broke the one above the passenger side glove box. I paid $40 at the local Ford dealership. No painting required. It came in the correct color.
