i am loking for some cheap hp so im loking at nitrous. i dont want a large shot but just a little something extra. i would like to know how nitrous wears on yop engine,what problems it has caused you guys or you guys have heard ofit causing. i have an 01 GT with 39000 on it. it hasnt been run hard.tell me if you think it will work.

Get to know simple mechanics of an engine before you start tinkering with nitrous.

It can do alot of damage to your engine if your unknowledgable or disrespect it.

as long as you get all the safety features that come with nitrous and its properly installed you should have no problems. Get colder plugs, window switch, fuel pressure safety switch (not actually a switch), WOT switch, run 93 octane, retard timing as necessary, tune maybe necessary for bigger shots. Sounds like a lot but in the long run it will be worth it!

there are plentyu of safe kits. It depends on if you want to go wet or dry and how big of a "shot" you want to run.

A WOT switch is safe and a window switch is a good idea too, if you have a manual.
