Default Things turning off on the car....

Been having this problem for a while, and I'm not quite sure what it could be. It started out whenever I would turn right, my HID's would flicker really bad and my cd player would cut off..but during the day when I didn't have my lights on it wouldn't happen. Now it happens every now and then whenever, the cd player will cut off and when I'm done making my turn it will cut back on. Not an electrical whiz so I'm kinda lost on what it could be...any suggestions?

Thanks guys, Jeremy

You have an intermittent connection, or short circuit, in the wiring--I'd check the aftermarket headlight circuits first. If the CD-player is not stock then that would be something to check as well...

Agreed.... With that also check your grounds. Maybe the chassis is flexing just enough to mess one up. Good luck either way, sounds like you have a good one on your hands

...well I took the stereo out, and what a mess! Electrical tape had come off of some of the wires and they were all touching each other, so I fixed that, then took her out for a spin, turning to the right of course, lol, and she was fine. Thanks for the tips guys.

when my alternator was dying my accessories, lights, radio and such started turning off and the lights had trouble turning on. Eventually the alternator died and the battery died. Go get you alt checked at autozone or something
