OK I have an update... Did unplug the camshaft sensor and tried to start the car...no go would not start at all, plugged it in and it started right up and quickly died of course right after. Also discovered that my upper intake gasket that connects my throttle body to my intake is not going to work as my old intake was recessed for the gasket to slide right in and this custom one is not so the gasket just lied right on top (about 3/8 inch) and was compressed down when tightened... not good at all. And lastly My CCRM is apparently not functioning properly which would explain my fan issue. Took it out and its split in the plastic where the harness plugs in. My fan would come on and off when the car was not even running if you played with it some. Hopefully both of these issues will solve my problem as the CCRM should fix my fan and the proper gasket fix my compression....

im in the same boat, but with my 88 gt. i swear ive tried almost everything. cleaned the idle air control, bought a new throttle position sensor, new spark plugs, cleaned the tb, new fuel filter, ive got like ten month old gas in there so i added 4 gallons and put in fuel cleaner (heet). now i guess im just gonna have to check timing and check fuel pressure.

\ Not sure how to check the fuel pressure myself though as Ive never done that, I will also try and locate the sensor to the right side of the fan as well as unplug the cam position sensor and start the car
Go to an autozone and you can rent the pressure gauge that come with the small hose and your mustang should have a fitting on the fuel rail were you put it in and you just turn the car on and it will show the fuel pressure. I have one on my trunk lol but I am a bunch of miles away. I dotn have the stock fuel rail but if I am not mistaken the fitting should be on the right side of fuel rail if you stang infront of the car.

No smoke or smell coming out of the exhaust? If not i would check the IAC valve and check the resistance of the spark plug wires. Good luck.
