Clutch vibration noise?

Clutch vibration noise?
I have a 97 Mustang GT with a relatively new clutch in the car (1-2 years old about).
The clutch pedal sometimes vibrates and it's VERY annoying. The way you can make it stop is by ever so gently placing your foot on the pedal. Another way to make the vibration stop is to put your foot under the pedal and pull it up towards you.
It seems like the pedal tension just needs to be tightened up a little. I'm just guessing though.
This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does... It drives me nuts. I get two different kinds of noises. Both of which seem to originate in the middle towards the back of the dash I believe. It's all related to the pedal though.
If anyone could please chime in that would be great.
Thanks!

I have this same problem, but I drive a 2001.
Is it stock or aftermarket clutch/quadrant?
I don't know directly about the 1997, but for the 01 if you have stock you have to fix the self adjusting pedal by pulling up on the pedal and releasing it fast.
I have all aftermarket, which I was told Steeda designed a kit for like $100 that would stop the vibration.

Clutch Vibration
I have been having the exact same clutch vibration in my mustang. It also feels like its in the dash or something somewhere and I also have to pull up on the pedal slightly or rest my foot on it to get it to stop. We've checked out like everything and nothing seems to jump out at us as to whats causing this... car drives great otherwise. It mainly does it when I am going EXACTLY 20 miles an hour. It's so weird. In the past few days, however, it has started rattling a little more at various speeds. I hope it isn't getting worse. This is my third mustang, I'm somewhat an enthusiast :-) and none of my other stangs had this issue. My last one actually had a strange problem too though. It would all of a sudden loose power going around sharp corners and act like I was in too high a gear. When I would be going like 30-35 mph in 3rd gear it would act like I needed to drop it down and would lose absolutely all power and I'd basically be coasting when I needed the power! So I would have to drop it to 2nd, which would then make the car red line and grab the power back, so I'd have to immediately shift up again. So weird. We never figrued out what that was because it would only do it around certain sharp curves...
