Default New Short Block

As some of you may have read my engine had developed a chattering noise. Turns out it is a rod knocking. I have decided to go ahead and get a new short block kit rather than go in and fix everything. I was wondering if any of you or maybe people you know have had any experience with aftermarket short blocks. Here are some websites I have been looking into: Coast
DSS Racing
Modular Mustang Racing

I am looking to stay N/A. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you would say racing. I would like it to be able to handle a lot of power. I have just had bad luck with this stock engine.

I've had tw0 DSS blocks and they are the best I ever had, they do a whole lot more then what they advertise on there site, you could send your stock blosk and they will cnc machine it to there specs, thats what i did to my old 5.0 block,They will work with you to what you really need and are looking for.

What's wrong with Coast? I'm kind of leaning towards them and the DSS 4.6 MODular.

If its just a Rod, why not buy an OEM bottom end for 395 from ford and then buy forged internals. Then run sick amounts of boost ! Thats what i would do.
