I had my cooling fan break on the ring that holds the blades in place (in april) and bought a used one from a well known salvage (LKQ) with a 6 month warranty and that one broke in the same spot about 2 weeks after I got it.

When I went to replace it with my warranty, 3 other fans were also starting to crack in the same place.

I'm just wondering if the OEM fan blades are made from cheap plastic and is this common?
