Default what size tires?

Just installed bbk lowering springs and about to install caster camber plates but want to put on new tires because too much negative camber from lowering car is making my car drive like s--t. What size tires recommended for car. i am going with nitto drag radials in back and regular 555's in front unless someone rec. some better brand. I have 17x9 cobra wheels on car. Was thinking about 275/40/17 in back and 255/45/117 in front???? By the way 2000 gt 5spd, kenne bell 6lbs non ic,mac cold air intake with 75mm throttle body. 373 gears, bbk full length headers with high flow cats and magnaflow exhaust. Also can anybody estimate what they think car will run 1/4 mile

I'm not sure with your drop but I know you can go 315/35-17 on stock ride and some lowered. You can have up to 275/40-17 in front even lowered.

If your using an 8-9" rim then go 275... if your using 10-10.5" then you need to go wider than 275. (285+)

I've seen guys with their cars lowered and with 17x9 Cobra's running 275/40-17 on all corners and I personally like it. If your wheels aren't staggard then I dont see much of a point in staggering the tires IMO.

As far as 1/4 mile I have no knowledge there...

I am at a bit of loss here....

You have too much neg. camber so you want CC plates, good
You are not happy with how it drives, so you want new tires because of neg. camber???

Just install the CC plates and then see how she drives, problem solved

As for 1/4 mile..... 10 seconds is not a possibility on your current mods, but would say closer to 12~13...? Someone else more familiar will chime in though as I am not into the 1/4 I am into the quarner

if you can actually drive youll go 12.3 or so. if not you wont break out of the 13s. those lowering springs arent gonna help you either. keep your 60' down, shift fast and 12s shouldnt be an issue. you have enough power to go 11s, but the suspension isnt there, nor the tires.
