Default 2v to 4v engine swap Questions

I bought a 94 Mark VIII engine and sold my Navigator engine.

1. Will a 2003 Mach 1 intake work on this engine?

2. Will the stock intake work?

3. Will Ford GT (super car) Cams work in this engine?

4. Will my stock computer run this engine? if yes will it run 30 miles w/o getting on it to get a tune?

5. I have the engine harness, injectors, etc.

N/A 10.5:1 compression with GT cams and flow tech long tube headers what kind of numbers would I be looking at?

1. No. Those are B heads, the Mach 1 intake is for 03/04 C heads.

2. What stock intake?

3. Yes.

4. You should be OK to drive it to get a tune.

the 99/01 heads are also interchangable with this intake.

should make 300whp give or take.

the stock mark viii intake, was just curious if it would work in the stang. I may end up getting a friend to help (knows how to tig weld aluminum) fabricate an aluminum intake.

If you use the same heads, yes ofc the intake will work but i think it will not flow as well as 96-98 cobra intakes.

Well if you have the money to get ford GT heads, and mach 1 intake, do that. The current combo with your heads/intake isn't that great in making a powerful engine. You won't need a tune, but you won't be able to rev your car any higher than the stock computer rpm limiter, so you will need a tune (should do a dyno tune so they know exactly what to do, that's what i did) in time.

the whole reason of buying the mark8 engine was to make more power than I could with my npi engine.

What do I need to do to this engine to get me up to 400whp?
