2V Timing Question

I am in the process of installing a new passenger side head. The manual i'm using says that after you get the timing chains, tensioners, etc. on, to rotate the engine by hand to check for interference. Then it says that after two complete turns of the crank that the timing marks should line back up. This isn't true is it? I know for a fact that i have the timing chains on right and i have no interference when i spin the crank, but the marks do not line back up. Anyone???

once the chains are on the sprockets they are locked there. When you rotate it they will always be in sync because the chain is holding everything in place. What the manual says makes sense to me I don't get your question?

Your original marks on the timing chain will not line up after only 2 complete rotations, I have heard a few different numbers and it is more like 80 times. If you didn't see it slip or anything which it shouldn't have then your timing is still right. Just count the links on the chain after you have rotated it a couple times.
