Sound like the Idle air controler problem. Either try cleaning it or buy a new one for about $80.

Ok, I don't know too much about it (Idle ar controler, wheres it at?), but would it die even on the highway, going 65?

The IAC is on the plenum. On the intake on the top, in front. From what i have read it this would cause it to die at a stop light and inbetween shifts. Here is a link from another forum about this.

no if it was the IAC then it would die when braking or at a stop, it wouldnt die when cruising down the hightway. that why its called IDLE air control. It controls the air at IDLE.

That is awesome. Thank you very much. After reading that thread, it sound like that is exactly what the problem is. Because I know in the traffic I am lifting up on the throttle multiple times, plus in that thread his was a 99 aswell.. not saying that is very important or anything.. but still.. Thank you very much, you have probably just saved me alot of money, and TIME!!..

I'm shocked IAC wasn't the first culprit listed
