Default UPR Lower Controls remove quadshock?

I am installing UPR PRO series Moly Chrome adjustable lower control arms tomorrow. These have a billet aluminum bushings and I did not buy uppers.

My question is should I remove and throw away quad kicker shocks or keep them on if possible? Car has 55K on it.

do you have an aftermarket weld in sway bar? If not i would reconsider mounting those as they do not have mounts for the factory swaybar on them.
I'd leave the quads on until you do uppers.

Really they just don't fit? Why hell didn't UPR tell me that before buying them? I will be calling them this morning.

Same thoughts as Devon re: sway bar mounts, but can lose the quads once LCA's are installed.

Your gonna get some extra noise from that rear-end, so will have to get used to it.

Jazzer

EDIT: This page was open too long prior to posting and missed above post. Agreed, call them and ask about sway bar mounts. Those arms will fit, but normally reserved for 1/4 mile guys and they don't need sway bars. Hell...... they don't even need STEERING wheels. I hear there is a good market for them on eBay, so pull them babies and save some weight gents

^ the noise, commonly referred to as NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness), is just the sound of the road in the cabin. If you put heavier springs, shocks or lower profile tires on your ride, you will have an idea.

This is really just a trade-off for a good handling ride. ALL upgraded aftermarket suspension parts are going to add some noise, but will get progressivly worse with more parts. The more poly ends the more noise. If you introduce Heim joints (spherical ends), you will get a bit more. On a nice smooth road, you will hardley notice it. BUT...... run your ride on an old rough asphalt road, turn the stereo up.

None of this is intollerable, as I run nearly 100% Heim joints on my ride with exactly 3 poly bushings and zero rubber. 30 series race tires and full coil-over suspension. It is safe to say, I have about as much NVH as any DD on this site .... I mean....
