Are you serious? I have talked to a lot of people and never heard that....

Wait, that might be the struts.....are the struts shorter?

Not sure about the struts. But, the reason the Fox shocks are better for a lowered car is that the stockers (being shorter) have very little travel, therefor shortening the life. With the longer shocks (Fox body), there is more travel allowing the shocks to work as designed and also allowing better weight transfer for launches.
Okay, I understand. I know a guy who has fox struts on his 98 GT and he said they are shorter, I mixed up the shocks and struts. I am getting some LMM springs and if/when necessary I will get some fox shocks/struts.

I don't know anything about the shocks, but the struts are about 1.5" shorter. I have fox Tokico struts on my car and they work great.

I put Monroe Sensatrac fox body shocks on with my Eibach pro kit. With that combination, I get crazy good traction. I can barely spin my tires at all anymore. It just grips right at the start and I take off like a rocket.
I just saw those monroe shocks at an auto parts store today. How much did you pay for them and did you get them on the internet??

No, Monroe shocks in the rear and "I" would get Strange 10 way adjustable fronts.

No fox shocks/struts are shorter, about 2". They have the same travel as the newer GT's as well, its the aftermarket newer GT shocks/struts are the ones with more travel.

so those are considered "fox body" shocks although the application is for 96-04?
