Default Car Acting Up

So a couple of days ago my car started acting up on me and I was wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem. Basically when I first start off from a stop or when I shift gears and press back into the gas, it feels like my motor is missing. I guess it sort of jerks like a cylinder isn't firing. The thing is, it only does this under 2000rpms and it doesn't do it all of the time. I thought it was my fuel filter not sending the fuel when I pressed the gas but I changed it out and that wasn't it so now Im thinking a coil pack may be failing.. Anyone have suggestion on what it may be? Thanks!

No CEL?

Take it to a shop and have them run a powerbalance test with a scan tool, it will tell you which cylinder is dropping off...if it is indeed a coil or plug problem
