Default how do you count the PIN on the PCM module

I have a 2003 mustang GT and I am wondering where does PIN number 1 start at on the PCM module that is under the passengerside kick panel?

By looking for the 1 on the connector. There is numbers on either side telling you where the pins are. Number one is purple with orange.

What are you looking for?

Default Eample Cobra Pinout

Here is a 1999 to 2001 Cobra 4.6 Pin Out. The numbers shown here on this PCM wire connector should be in the same sequence as your wire connector terminal. Not sure about the Fords, however the numbers for the Chevy PCM's are on the wire connectors itself. The protective rubber covering has to be removed to view the numbers for the Chevy wire connectors. I would think that the Fords are the same. Hope this helps. Good luck, Tommy.
