You are right, they can easily be swapped..but the sound of an H is better then the sound of the X to some. H=deep, classic muscle car sound..X=highe, raspier sound
clearly you've never actually heard an X pipe. mine is in no way, shape or form higher pitched and raspy. in fact, when i had my LM1s, after i swapped the H out for my new X, it made them sooooo much deeper and soooo much louder. made them sound a hell of a lot better at WOT.

my X with my LM2s is loud and has a nice DEEP pur at idle. one that you can still feel if you stand behind it. it has an aggressively deep cruising speed and WOT can't be beat.

I have to agree with Nan on this one....

Well, was it the stock h with the 4 cats that you swapped it out for? Please don't misinterpret what I am saying..I am not saying that X pipes are high pitched like rice..what I am saying is that they are higher pitched than an H pipe. They also tend to, at least to me ears, have a raspier sound when the rpm's get up there. But I am in no way saying that X pipes suck, or are high pitched.

Thanks stang..i can't describe the roar that came out of my engine, nor can I describe how good it felt to see him make the first possible turn to get away from me..I suggest doing it very soon and very often
