The Mustang's reputation for durability and reliability was a big factor in me choosing one. I got my 2003 back in 2005 with 16k on it, and it's by far been the best car I've ever owned. I see it lasting a very long time, although I will be doing a lot of modding when I graduate. I trust this car 100%.

A Car Fax doesn't show everything that is wrong with a car, but it doesn't hurt to get one done.

You drive only 2,000 miles per year? I drive around 20,000 miles per year. My car has 120,000 with the last 40,000 supercharged. If taken car of these cars last a long time.
