Hey guys. Question:

This chin spoiler was on the car when I got it and I need to replace it (wear, tear, etc.) but I can't figure out what I have. It's a Mach 1 one, right? But it's not the same as the one American Muscle has. Theirs is smooth and a shiny black. Mine is flat black and isn't smooth...it kind of has a more rough surface. That's the only way I can describe it. I'm sure anyone with the AM one will be able to see the difference right away. Any help would be appreciated!

It's the mach1 4sure. It looks like the OEM one from ford.

I bough a Mach 1 Chin Spoiler 2 years ago from American Muscle....It was the Dull Black one like yours..

Ordered a new one 6 months ago, it was the new shiney black one....And this time came with Nuts and Bolts!!!!

Take it to a Paint shop see if they will paint it...

Yeah thats the one from american muscle. You might of seen one that had tire shine on it which is what i do to mine when i wash my car but when i dont do it for awhile it looks like yours.

+1 i always wanted to get mine painted but never got around to it. it always looked good right after i washed the stang and i wiped armor all on it

No, AM has the shiny black ones now. They used to sell the OEM looking one, but now they are just a cheap looking piece of plastic.

Ya it's definitely a Mach 1 chin. That's the same one I have. AM will have a shiny one but if you like the dull one better look for someone w/ a Mach getting rid of the stock one.

That could be a OEM, but Mustangs Unlimited sells one just like it.

Thanks guys! I was sure it was a Mach one but all I was seeing was the shiny plastic one which isn't what I want to do, lol.
