No you will not need a new belt. Aren't the trickflow UDPs crank pulley a piggy back pulley?

Yes they are. You'll still get decent power from them w/ a tune BUT if they were Steeda pulley's, or any other system w/ a new harmonic balancer, they would get you better power. Plus w/ a piggyback you need to look out cuz u may ruin ur crank.

Gains are the same both do the same job just in a different design(even though the gains aren't amazing). Theres plenty of people who run piggyback pulleys and not had a problem but some do.

hmm so what should I do at this pont. I cant really sell them becasue they were a gift, and my cusion wanted to see them installed and drive it after the install to see if there was noticable gain.

Throw 'em on dude who cares. I've just "heard" those things and haven't seen proof.

I have 2 friends with blown motors because the piggy back pulleys shattered the oil pump gears.

I can tell you from experience that you won't notice much if anything from UD pulleys. Also, if you ever decide to do a blower like I want to do, you'll be ripping them back off anyway. If I could do it again, I would've gone with something else.
