It's amazing the amount of miss information is stated.

1. SLP Loudmouths are 1dB louder then Magna packs, at over a 101dB, 1dB is not noticable to the human ear.

2. Magnapacks have more bass in there tone the SLPs which makes them seem quieter then SLPs.

3. Magnapacks are not much louder then stock at idle unlike the SLPs, but carry a lot of bass. It shakes my garage walls when i warm it up on cold mornings.

4. Magnapacks at WOT are extremely loud as are SLPs, but quiet and civil when you need them to be (ie cops around).

5. Magnaflows are a very quiet muffler even at WOT but provide some nice gains without the risk of stopped for excessive noise.

Albizo you are comparing the results of a 5.0l to a 4.6l. The 4.6l does not come close to carrying the aggressiveness of a 5.0l. As much as it pains me to say it Flows sound best on 5.0ls.

Silver GTV8..I was talking about the MagnaFLOW not the Magnapack..my buddy has magnapack..I like it, sounds cool as hell..just not as raw as the SLP..but similar sound..He had MagnaFLOW before that..friggin quiet!!Good point on teh 5.0 to 4.6 statement..wasn't even thinking about that difference in the car. BUT, I had flowmasters on the car when I first bought it..40 series..and they sucked..absolutely horrible..a very tinny sound and gave me like 3 horsepower..if that..not noticeable at all..I now hate Flows..and will never get another catback exhaust other than SLP..I plan on selling my '95 to my best friend and getting a 90-92 fox..and I am going to buy flowmaster cat back pipes and weld in the SLP resonators between the catback pipes and the mid-pipe..but yeah I was comparing to MagnaFLOW not MagnaPACKS

You paid what a 90 a piece? and your saying a full catback at 320 is overpriced[>:] you can buy magnapacks for 60.
