Ok, I need someone to check their car and see where the hell these wires go. On the drivers side of the car, there is a loom that comes out of the firewall, right by the master cylinder. It has 3 wires in it, a white, a red and an orange. The white wire goes over to the the hood light switch on the passenger side. I need to know where the red and black ones go. Mine have been hacked off and I can't figure this one out.
There is a big cookie involved for the person that tells me where they go.

does the car run? are there any stripes on the wires or are they solid. its raining outside but i got a wiring diagram handy.
yoe are saying that the white wire is going to the engine compartment light? that wire is supposed to be black/orange. has the wiring of the car been all hacked up b4? u should go and get ur self a haynes manual.

Stuck in through the sidewall of the grommet like that, neither of those would be OEM wiring--it's some after market thing, or a hack job on some OEM system.

What to the other ends connect? Where it splits and seem to head forward I'd speculate it is (or was) some type of auxiliary lighting...

The car runs fine and I do have a haynes manual, but I couldn't find these wires. I am wondering if there was an aftermarket alarm that was installed on this car. I do have some blinking light inside the car that I haven't identified, so I wonder if they are part of that.

I think you are right. The hood switch is aftermarket, it would probably set it off if someone tried to open the hood. Also, the two wires right below it, I tracked them down and they go to the power box and attach where the alternator cable attaches. They are fused and then go inside the car. Someone must have ripped out the alarm that they had in it.
