Check the mufflers and tail pipes if they aren't lined up right they will hit on the frame and suspension. Just unbolt the cat back from the mid pipe and line it up again. The noise should go away.

Well, that makes me wonder because this noise started developing the DAY AFTER I got work done on my exhaust. A while ago, I replaced the stock mufflers with a carback Flowmaster kit. I did not have exhaust clamps for this area. I took my car to the shop for them to fix a crappy weld job they did on my magnaflow hi-flow cats on the H-Pipe. They fixed the weld, and then asked me if I wanted them to throw some clamps on the catback, no charge. I told them that they could, and I guess they did.

Maybe these are rattling? But WHY if my car is HOT does this noise not appear?

My car would do it when it was cold and when I would let off the gas. I took it to a place on base that I can work n the car my self. I put it on the lift and the passenger side muffler and tailpipe where rubbing on the frame and the under body were the muffler sits.
