I have been building engines for more than 10 years bro. And I don't need to make you look stupid, you're doing a fine job of that yourself. I even included a pic of the heads so you can see that the provisions are different from head to head, as well as various other features. You must be good at magic because I would love to see you swap the coolant passages from front to back considering they're cast into the head. Not to mention, it would be pretty sweet to see you try and bolt up a timing cover to the back of the heads...simply amazing!

Note how the vendors sell them side specific? Thats because they are not interchangable...unless you meant 2V, 3V, and 4V heads being "interchangable" on any modular bottom end. In that case, that's common knowledge, and EVERYBODY knows that.

Holy ****ing **** you are a ****ing tool.

See the ****ing plug in the pic below. All you have to do is switch them around you ****ing moron.

If you can tell me which head in the pic below is the driverside head I will give you my ****ing car.

Seriously go ask the guy who built your car for you and he will tell you the same thing.

Because I built my engine and car, I know that what you're saying isn't right. Have you ever built a 3V or 4V? List the part numbers on the two heads and I'll tell you which one is the drivers side. And then I'll give you your car back. BTW if they were the same, they would have the same part #.

^ Then go there and see if Ford says they're interchangable. Sean Hyland doesn't know anything, and yeah Ford, what the hell do they know?

You are a true ****ing idiot. The sell them with the plugs in the right spot for each side which is why they have different part numbers. But they are interchangeable. See those two heads in the pic the front one was the driverside when they were on my car. But when I went inside to eat and let my buddy torque the heads on his new shortblock he put them on the wrong side. I switched the plugs instead of changeing the heads around cause it was alot easier. But your right we fuked up cause his car only made 535rwhp on 10psi. We must have done something wrong or just performed some magic spell on the heads to make them work.

Dumb ***.

Here is more on the subject https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6-...-help-plz.html

I know you think that what sean hyland says or writes is gospel but even Jim from CMS knows I'm right. I would listen to him since people actually buy his parts unlike shm.

You still have yet to say how to do it with 3v and 4v heads. Inquiring minds want to know. I mean hell you know everything.

More for you http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...t2V/index2.php

I'm not 100% on either the 3v or 4v because I don't mess with them as much but I am pretty sure the 4v heads are just by looking at them.

Show me a pic of the back and front of your heads from when you built your motor and I will tell you.

.

I assure you they are not. You said enough right there. I focus the majority of my attention on 4V's. So i know them inside and out, just like you seem to know the 2V.

Cool man, those 2V heads are side to side swappable. Thank you for showing me.

It's funny how the whole ordeal started by us agreeing on the heli-coil anyway. You said the job could be done without head removal, I didn't disagree with that, I just said to do it RIGHT, the head should be removed. But it's what ev dude, and I'm tired of arguing. You were wrong about certain things, I was wrong about certain things. I'm dunzo.
