Ok so right now i have 97 GT with aMac o/r X pipe going into flowmasters. Sound like crap. I bottemed out going over a pot hole. So I need to put on a new Cat-Back system on. </P>


- I need to know if anybodyout there has a mac o/r x pipe going into what? let me know and what sounds best! THANKS</P>

I would say its the x-pipe giving you the sound you don't like. My Girlfriend had one on her 98GT and I hated the sound of it so on went an H-pipe and its sounds a hundred times better. If you want a different cat-back I know MAC's sounds nice my brother has it on his 95 Cobra with on O/R H-pipe and it sounds real nice although it gets louder then 2 chambers when floored.

MAC cat-backs have a really deep muscular tone, which sounds GREAT on the 4.6. Sounds like a beefed up 351! Or you could try a Dynomax cat-back, or the Spintech side-exit exhaust. I love the sound of the Spintech mufflers on the 4.6.

2 chambers flows + Magnaflow o/r X pipe are the perfect combo, my 2000 GT now sounds like a beast.<IMG src=smileys/smiley15.gif border="0"></P>

i have 2 chamber 40 series flows, with i believe a bassani X pipe, and MAC LT's. awesome sound, but i'm thinking about changing my cat back. i'm thinking SLP, MAC dynomax or magnaflow, because apparantly fowmasters are very restrictive, so i'd like better performance and maybe a good sound to go with it.
