Default Will a DOHC fit in replace of a SOHC

I got a 97 GT and was going to be droppin a new engine in to it and was thinkin about maybe doin a DOHC from a Cobra. Does anybody know if that would be a fairly easy conversion. Like will the wire harness and all that good stuff match up or what?

yes it will work
1)wire harness will work, but will need to be modified(change polarity of the plugs)
2)computer will need to be reflashed
3)will require new CAI assembly

Could be wrong but I think you may need another instrument panel, that could be only on newer models though. Good luck, I wouldn't mind having a 4v and a manual trans to swap out either...
