Default Back behind the wheel of a mustang and have some questions

My first car was a 90 mustang 5.0 loved it sold it 8 years ago had two dodge rams since then and have recently purchased a stock 01 gt with 130,000kms , and I have a few questions:

I got a new clutch installed in it a few days after I bought it because the TOB was squealing. The Mechanic I had instal the clutch had a hard time finding the parts because he said My mustang Had an odd tranny in it. He called ford read them the vin/ and sure enough is a ford tranny rarely used in mustangs not a t5 but is stock . I think he said T35 but i cant remember entirely. Of course the clutch was almost double a regular clutch. Your guys thoughts on this would be great.

I have a good line on some barley used race craft 1.5`drop springs for $75 Im not familiar with the brand, your thoughts and opinions on them would also be appreciated.

Lastly I have a line on a used B&M short throw I can get cheap, is there any known problems or anything I should look for in the shifter before I purchase

I think it was a T-45 bro. Someone will set me straight if I'm wrong.

01 is when they switched mid year from t45 to tr3650. If you are looking at an OEM Ford clutch, it will be expensive. Go to americanmuscle.com and pick up a king cobra clutch. Give me you full VIN # and I'll tell you what trans you have

They changed from the T45 to the T3650 mid-year. You have the same transmission as my 2000 GT.
