Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on this. Here's my issue:
Haven't really pushed my car too hard until recently (after being hooked into the modworld and everything else mf has to offer.)
I've noticed in the past few days, when I go at second aggressively I lose all power for a second or two. It's kinda like what happens when you redline and fail to shift on time. Since I'm nowhere near the red, I was wondering why this was happening. It happens around 3-3.5K, 4.5 tops. It's happened three or four times but that's within the past three days. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what the issue might be? Me = Mod/anything to do with a car (besides making payments) Newbie. Thanks,

TJ
There's two rev limiters on Mustangs, the freespin rev limiter that kicks in around 3500 and the redline limiter that hits around 5750-6000rpm. If you're missing a shift and still on the gas, you're hitting the freespin limiter. Keeps you from getting a spun bearing when you rev it without a load.. It's not a problem, it's just the car keeping you from jacking it up.

Could also be the T/C if it's on and the computer senses wheelspin.

Please tell me you're not a mechanic! LOL

Bob the Bullit:
Apparently, this is what happened: A radio interference filter within the dash was causing an intermitten short of the ignition coil. Does this make sense, because it's all greek to me. He could've told me the flux capacitor wasn't getting the 1.21gigawatts it needed to make time travel possible and I would have just nodded my head in agreement.

This is all the info I have, if you have follow up questions I'm going down there tonight and I'd be happy to ask them for you.
