Default Vortech losing fuel with 400who at around 6000rpm?

i have a built shortblock with a walbro 255. and at around 6000rpm he said that i was starting to lean out so they couldn't pulley down and bump up the horsepower above 400whp. does this sound right?

doesn't sound right to me. i'm running the Focus pump (190 lph i think), mine made 403 rwhp at 6000 rpm and wasn't leaning out at all. what size injectors are you running? i've heard that a Walbro 255 pump with 42# injectors is good to at least 450 rwhp.

some stangs can make over 400whp and not go lean with an svt focus pump. I heard it just depends on the pump. Me personally, i would do a boost a pump just in case.

42lb injectors with a walbro 255lph. yeah and i guess they could just be playing it safe which isn't a bad thing.
