mine does it. all i do is let off the clutch hit the brake and then press the clutch in and it goes right in

Could this be a problem with the hydro clutch? Is that used in that year of mustang?

What doest the brake have to do with the tranny??? Just wondering.

Nothing. You're just doing that extra step for nothing. Everyone is just telling him what I told him in the first place. It's normal. Just release/press the clutch and try again.
