for the MM k member you need a bumpsteer kit. If your doing k member, you may as well do the rest like a arms and coilovers. Then you would need cc plates. i say do it all or dont mess with it

I have an aftermarket K member with 4 cyl Fox springs without CC plates/bumpsteer with no problems, but it couldn't hurt to do it

I have an aftermarket k member and I am only running the cc plates. no bumpsteer. Everything works out good.

It will completely depend on the setup (coil-overs, ride height, etc.)

what kind of kit are you looking at? not all of them are the same, my upr came with a arms, k-member, c&c plates, coilovers, ect. you dont need them but like lizzy said, it doesnt hurt, especially if you want to lower your car, it makes it easier to get the alignment correct.
