Exhaust leak after o/r pipe install... ideas?

I've heard that the doughnut gasket is what will solve the leak.

I had the same problem with my Mac H-pipe. The flare on the end was to small causing the ring to slip almost over the end and bottom out on the shoulders of the studs before it was tight. I brought the pipe into an exhaust shop and they flared it more for free. no more leaks. you could also try replacing the studs and using bolts so the flange can pull up as tight as it needs to.

Dangit! I couldn't remember which side that was for and I couldn't find your post when you suggested it by posting a really large photo of it lol

So what do you guys recommend is a good fix?? Replacing the studs?? I just want my exhaust leak gone On some days when the leak is quite obvious, i lose power. When the leak isn't there (which is once in a blue moon), my car is a whole new animal.. What is an easy fix
